The building inspector came by around 1:00 today and ok'd the insulation! The next inspection will be a final inspection. Even though that seems a little way off, it's still feels a lot like progress. Also thankfully, Rick took the rest of the day off!

Feeling ever so elated over our insulation passing the previous day, it was another of those mornings with Rick jumping out of bed chanting "Daylight's burning darlin!". Since I can really help with this job (not just handing him stuff), I got up and made a big breakfast - which was becoming our routine, whicle Rick got started. Once he had a few pieces of sheetrock up I could begin taping the seams.
We worked all day and by 9:00 p.m. with a pizza on its way for dinner, we finished up! All walls were sheetrocked with a first coat of joint compound!
Having accomplished so much in the 2 weeks Rick was home and with the place sheetrocked, it was time for a break.
While Rick needed to do things to get ready for work Monday, I snuck down to the Jersey shore for a few days with my brother and his wife and kids. All refreshed, I hope to be painting the studio by this weekend. A few more coats of "mud" and I'll be ready to paint!
By the way, the gypsy lady who read my palms at the shore told me my work will sell!
I just love
