Oil Paintings

In my trip to Rockport, Massachusetts, looking for things to paint I was overwhelmed with subjects. Best of all was this cove, filled with fishing boats. When I walked towards the end of the jetty, with the sun setting, there was a fishing boat heading out to sea, then the seagulls that were standing on the rocks took flight. Their wings caught the light, and luckily I caught the picture with my camera so I could paint the scene later.
