Spring Thaw

The beginning of Spring, here in New Hampshire presents itself a little differently than many warmer places. Here, when the rivers and streams start to show as the snow melts, thats the first sign that warmer days are ahead. The usual show of flowers is a ways off yet. The beauty in the contrast between the brightly sunlit snow and the cold dark rushing water is always a favorite theme with me. I try to catch the same views in early winter before the rivers and streams freeze over. Catching a few reflections in the water is always a plus.
