Landscape Oil Paintings

Autumn Hayfield

Along a back road in Greenfield, New Hampshire this farm sits. My son told me about it, he discovered it when he started using this route as a short cut to his girlfriend's house. The first time I went by here, I wasn't sure what he saw in it. The barn across the street is beyond rustic but I went by a few more times anyhow. On this particular day, it was late afternoon in Autumn. I continue to be amazed at the difference time of day makes for landscapes. Different seasons also make a big difference, but thats a little more obvious. The snow and the autumn colors can transform so many nondescript places into magical ones.
