En Plein Air Paintings
Lily Pads
This has become my new favorite place to paint. It changes so much during the different seasons that it's like a new place each time. It's Mud Pond in Dublin, New Hampshire. I have winter paintings of the same pond. The difference between a pond filled with lilly pads and colorful reeds and the frozen crispness of this same pond makes it an exciting and dynamic spot to paint. It's easy accessibility also makes it perfect for plein air painting.
This particular painting won second place for oil paints at the Manchester Art in the Park, Manchester New Hampshire.
